Clare is an entrepreneur and talent advisor with over twenty years’ experience building boards and leadership teams for high-growth technology companies.

She began her career in management consultancy before co-leading a talent boutique, and in 2007 founded The Up Group, which she grew into one of Europe’s leading tech-focused executive search and talent advisory firms. Known for its differentiated, community-led model, Up established the Digital Masters Awards and associated senior networking platform, convening thousands of founders, executives and investors across Europe each year.

Clare worked closely with many of Europe’s top PE and VC funds, helping scale their portfolio companies and serving as a trusted advisor to CEOs, founders and senior execs across the tech ecosystem.

She led Up through two transactions: first to the private equity firm Livingbridge, and later to AMS, the global talent solutions business backed by OMERS Private Equity. She exited the business five years after the final sale.

Clare is now a Venture Partner with Sprints.
