We are excited to announce that our portfolio company Vinted has raised €128m in a new round of financing led by new investor Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors including Sprints.
Vinted is Europe’s latest consumer marketplace success. The company offers consumers the best platform for listing and buying second-hand items, catering to the growing demand for pre-loved fashion.
Today, Vinted has 25 million registered users, and over 180 million products available for purchase. In 2019 the company anticipates over €1.3bn will be transacted on the marketplace.
This latest round of financing validates the company’s exceptional performance since our first investment in August 2018. Since that time, Vinted has successfully scaled its business across 11 markets in Europe, demonstrating a 4x increase in revenue in the last 17 months.
