Loved by millions and trusted by the biggest names in aviation.
Founded in 2006 in Sweden, Flightradar24 began as a side project to visualise aircraft over Stockholm. By 2009, the project had evolved into a collaborative network, opening its receiver infrastructure to the public. It became a standalone service in 2012 and now operates the world’s largest receiver network, contributing real-time aircraft data.
The platform processes more than a billion positional updates each month and maintains several terabytes of historical flight data. Its solutions are used by millions of aviation enthusiasts and commercial clients globally, including airlines, airports, government authorities and investigators. Flightradar24’s reputation for data accuracy and system reliability makes it a vital resource in both daily operations and critical incident analysis.
